Advocacy & Campaigns on Migrant’s Rights

Why Our Work
Matters

Nearly 1 in 2 migrant survivors of domestic abuse

cannot access refuge support because of immigration restrictions, challenges that are often worsened for Filipino and ESEA survivors by stigma, isolation, and lack of culturally appropriate service

More than 50,000 Filipinos

are estimated to work across the UK health and social care sector, making Filipino workers one of the largest overseas national groups in the NHS and care workforce.

Thousands of modern slavery victims

are identified in the UK each year, with Filipino and ESEA migrant workers among those most vulnerable to labour exploitation, unsafe working conditions, underpayment, and coercion in sectors such as healthcare, care work, domestic work, hospitality, cleaning, and agriculture.
