Kanlungan worked with Public Law Project (PLP) on the campaign for  senior care workers who have had gaps in their visa or have lost their right to remain in the UK and became undocumented due to the changes in immigration rules.

One aspect of the campaign was to explore the possibility of a judicial review to challenge the adverse effects of the changes in the rules for senior care workers. The aims of the campaign was to gain concessions for these migrant workers so that barriers to acquiring ILR, settlement and Citizenship are removed; and to gain an increased  awareness of the general public on the issues of these workers who provide public services to the vulnerable section of the British community.
